What the official bulletin established
The September 3, 2026 E-Verify bulletin supplements the August 14 message. It describes notices extending qualifying Ukraine TPS employment authorization documents through October 19, 2026. It does not extend every Ukrainian national’s work permit.
Documents covered by the instructions
The bulletin describes an A12 or C19 employment authorization document expiring on or after April 20, 2026, but before October 19, 2026, together with the USCIS extension notice. Its Form I-9 and E-Verify instructions used October 19, 2026 as the expiration date.
Check current instructions before relying on an extension
Because that date has passed, employees and employers must check current USCIS instructions and the individual’s documents. Do not treat this historical bulletin as evidence of a later extension, automatic permanent status, or current employment eligibility.
