Attorney Shelle-Ann Simon is an immigration attorney in the Houston, Texas area providing over 15 years of legal experience to her clients. Mrs. Simon has lived in the Houston area for over 30 years.
Mrs. Simon was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and lived there before emigrating to Texas with her family as a child. She attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and received a BBA with a double major in Marketing and International Business. Soon thereafter, she went on to receive her law degree at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While in attendance at Thurgood Marshall, she was on the Dean’s List and also received the prestigious Mickey Leland Fellowship to live for a semester in our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., while working for a member of Congress. While there, she was able to experience firsthand how our laws are made while serving and making a direct impact.
Mrs. Simon has always been interested in international affairs and her interest was renewed while receiving her law degree at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She studied abroad in Innsbruck, Austria at the Institute on World Legal Problems under visiting Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
While in law school, Mrs. Simon personally experienced the frustration that many immigrants face and wanted to help others have a smoother and stress-free experience with their immigration needs. She has decided to use her legal knowledge and personal experience to serve those who need help navigating our complex immigration system.
Mrs. Simon upon receiving her bar license worked for a civil litigator and touched on many family law cases. She strives to treat each client as an individual and not just a number. She is empathetic and works hard to resolve each legal issue for her client just as she would for a friend.
Mrs. Simon is married and has three boys. In her spare time, she enjoys international travel.
